Privacy policy

This page describes how the site handles information. It is written for a static reference site that does not run user accounts, but the final wording must match whatever the live deployment actually does before it goes public.

What is collected

The reference pages are static, so browsing them does not require an account, a login, or any personal detail you type in. There is no database of visitors on this side of the site. The contact form is currently non-functional and stores nothing; if a backend is later connected to accept submissions, only the fields you enter would be handled, and that policy would need to be updated to say so.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no first-party cookies of its own and runs no analytics. The advertising partner does. Three ad formats load on every page: a banner in an iframe, a pop-under script, and a push-style script that can raise a browser notification-permission prompt. Those scripts set cookies and device identifiers against this site's domain to serve, measure, personalise and frequency-cap ads — the counters are visible as sb_main_ and sb_count_ entries. Declining the notification prompt stops that one; the rest is handled by the network. Opt-out is available through the Digital Advertising Alliance and Google Ads Settings pages. If the ad provider changes, this section has to name the new one.

Ad content

Creatives, and any page a pop-under opens, are chosen by the ad network rather than by this site. A fan resource has no editorial control over them and is not responsible for what they link to. If an ad you see is inappropriate for this audience, report it to the network with the page URL so the placement can be reviewed.

Third-party requests

Loading a page sends some requests to services we do not run. Right now that is: the ad network (three scripts plus an iframe from bauval.org on every page), Google Fonts (the display and body typefaces), the game's own image host for artwork, and i.ytimg.com for video thumbnails on the homepage. Each of those providers can see your IP address and the fact that the request came from this site, and each is covered by its own privacy policy rather than this one. Every other external destination on the site — the official Roblox page, community links — is an ordinary link, so nothing is requested from them until you click. The video thumbnails on the homepage load without the video player; YouTube is only contacted if you click one.

Data retention

Because no personal data is collected on the static pages, nothing is retained about you from normal reading. Any information entered into a future form would be kept only as long as needed to respond, then deleted. Server logs, if any exist, are controlled by the host, not by this content.

Contact

Questions about this policy, or a request about how data is handled, can go through the contact page. See the about page for who maintains the site.

Have this policy reviewed and edited to match the real deployment, including any analytics, forms, or embeds that ship, before the site goes live. Generic privacy text is a starting point, not legal advice.
