Codes NotWorking?

Almost every failed Abyssal Escape code redemption is one of five causes. Work through them in this order and you will know within a minute whether the code is you or the code.

If the redeem button returns no message at all, that is usually an expired code rather than a broken one. Abyssal Escape silently rejects most dead codes.

Check these in order

Trailing space. Copying a code from a page or chat almost always drags a space along the end. Type it manually once before you conclude it is dead.
Case and lookalikes. Codes are usually uppercase, and O versus 0 plus I versus 1 account for a large share of "working code that fails" reports.
Expiry. Compare against the active list and the retired list on the same page. A code that moved to the retired column is not a bug.
Already redeemed. Most rewards are one per account. A second attempt fails the same way an expired code does, which is why the order above matters.
Client state. Rejoin the server. Redeeming during a live round can be blocked while the menu is partially locked.

Still failing after all five? Try the code on a second account. If it redeems there, the problem is your account state, not the code.

How to confirm a code is actually dead

A dead code and a mistyped code feel identical from the player side, so confirm before you report it. The reliable test is whether the code still appears on the active list after a fresh check, and whether anyone else has redeemed it since. If both are unclear, treat it as dead and stop spending time on it.

What to do about codes you missed

Abyssal Escape has been live since 17 October 2026, so the retired list is already long and most of it is cosmetic. Nothing on the retired list is permanently unobtainable by design — developers routinely re-run older codes around updates, which is the main reason to keep this page bookmarked rather than trusting a single screenshot.

Why does my code say invalid when it is on your list?

Either it expired between our update and your attempt, or it was already redeemed on that account. Check the retired column on the codes page.

Do codes work on mobile?

Same account, same codes — see the mobile page for the one practical difference, which is typing them accurately on a touch keyboard.

Can a code be region locked?

Uncommon for this game, but promotional codes tied to an event can be. If a second account redeems it and yours cannot, that is the likely cause.
